Play with balls

by Leny
(Jakarta, Indonesia)

Here's a simple and fun way to learn numbers in preschool Math class. The children will never be bored.

I provide each child with a small basket like the one you can get at supermarkets; but of smaller size.

Depending on the number of children attending the class, spread about ten or more colourful plastic balls on the floor

Let the children rush for the balls to put into their respective baskets.

When there are no more balls, I count with each child how many balls each has collected.

Even a one year old loves it.
