Drinks Recipes
The following Drinks Recipes are easy to prepare. Gather your preschool kids and have fun with some drinks preparation activities just before break time. Kids love to be involved in the process of making their own drinks.
New vocabulary to introduce:- - drops of lemon juice
- - dollop of ice cream
- - sprinkle of cinnamon-sugar
- - scoop of ice cream
- - transfer
- - ingredients,
- - blend / blender
- - ice cubes
- - freeze / frozen …
- - concentrated juice
- - names of fruits
- - measurements
Fraction concepts may be applied: - 1 cup
- 1/2 cup
- 1/4 tsp (teaspoon)
- 1/3 TBsp (tablespoon)
Check out some of these drinks recipes and include them in your preschool curriculum for class activities. Harvest Milkshake - 1 frozen peeled banana
- 3 TBsp orange juice concentrate
- 3 TBsp pumpkin puree
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1/3 cup water
Place all ingredients in a blender
Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve
Thanksgiving Smoothie Recipe - 1/2 can of pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 4 ice cubes
Combine and blend ingredients until smoothFor garnish, drop a dollop of vanilla yogurt or whipped cream toppingand sprinkle with cinnamon or coloured sprinkles Orange Sunshine Smoothie Recipe - 1 cup water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 TBsp sugar (or less)
- 1 frozen orange (peeled, cut & frozen)
Combine and blend till ice cubes are evenly crushed Healthy Tornado Fruit Drink Recipe - 6 Ice cubes
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 2 scoops of Ice Cream or Fruit Yoghurt
- 1/2 Apples - peeled
- 1 TBsp Sugar (optional)
Combine and blend all ingredients
"No-need-blender" Drinks Recipes
Fruit Punch Recipe - 2 TBsp Sugar
- 1 can Pineapple Juice concentrate
- 2 pkg Cherry Kool Aid or any drink crystals
- 4 liters Soda Water
- 1 can lemonade
Lemonade may be prepared with lemon, and sugar dissovled in water Orange Sherbert Recipe - 1 cup orange juice
- 2 TBsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup ginger ale
- 2 scoops orange sherbert
Snow White Beauty Cool Recipe - 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups of 7-up
Old-Fashioned Float Recipe - 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups of Root Beer
Easy Fizzy Floaty - 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups of Coca Cola
